A KAP (Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices) Survey related to the sustainability of seaweed cultivation activities was conducted during the past month in view of complying with global standards for future collaboration.
The KAP survey was conducted on 15 partner farmers who have more than 10 years of experience in seaweed farming. Furthermore, this survey will be a basis in analysing and updating the approaches that will be more efficient for seaweed cultivation.
This survey is instrumental in MARI Oceans’ approach to making farmers both strategic partners and main actors in collaborative initiatives formulated based on their inputs.
